LOGOLOG
a weblog of wordplay Bourne To RunThe Bourne-movies that have been released lately starring Matt Damon will likely have another episode filmed in the near future ("Bourne's back! Intenser! Shakier! Actionier!"). But with the progressive titles that they've used thus far: Identity, Supremacy, Ultimatum, at some point one might get concerned just what will come next.Since the plot will no doubt be about Bourne cutting off the head of some evil agency within the hydra that is the government, the story (and script) really don't need much attention. The second half of the title is probably what will garner the most thought of any potential fourth installment. I suppose Bourne Infinitum is a possibility, but let me, right now, throw out my candidate: Bourne Again And instead of tackling yet another nefarious goverment agency, Jason Bourne could go all medieval-with-jarring-camerawork on some corrupt religious fundamentalists or something. Just a suggestion. -- Eric

Comments about this article:Now that you force me to really think about the name "Bourne", I can't help but notice that if you divvy it up by every-other-letter, you get B_u_n_ and _o_r_e, which suggests some kind of mining-for-muffins scenario. So now I want to watch a documentary about mining for muffins. But I don't think that's going to happen any time soon. How frustrating.Posted by: Larry Hosken
